Baby Lovebirds

Spring has sprung at Heartsong Aviary.

We have tiny babies in the nursery....and they are awesome.

I started handfeeding my lovebirds on MondayApril 12. the oldest two were just six days old at the time but the nest was very crowded as Mommy bird layed seven eggs! I'm also feeding two tiny little budgies who are all of 16 and 15 days old...they are adorable.

Here I'll be keeping track of their growth and progress over the next few weeks until they are ready for their forever homes. Two of the lovebirds are spoken for so far.
