Treat Making Time

Ingredients in this batch: two eggs, budgie seed mix, raw honey, yellow corn meal, lovebird pellets -crushed. Mix well, roll into balls, flatten slightly, make a hole with a chopstick(or whatever)-bake @325(more or less) on greased foil covered sheet for about 25 minutes until very firm. Use hemp string or ribbon to tie to cage. Remove tie after treat is eaten.
I give these tobudgies,lovebirds,parrotlets,meyers and senegals.  For the larger birds it's also good to mix in dried fruit, veggies, and nuts for variety.

Here are some examples of what my birds eat on a daily basis.
Some of the ingredients shown are: corn,snow peas broccoli,wild and brown and basmati rice,boiled egg,and fresh dill. The green veggies are usually cut up into small pieces using my kitchen shears.
